 wow. i totally dropped off the map there for the last couple months. sorry guys! the last of the a2b shop magnets were sold today (thanks alexandria!) and more will be uploaded this week. a whole lot more. i promise.
got a lot in store for this year. more links to transit goodness - products, sites, images and more. this site will be updated a lot more regularly and the shop will be expanding to carry more sf muni goodness.
in other words, more, more, more in 2009. =)

 thanks everyone for all the great emails this last week. a lot of you asked similar questions, so i thought i would answer them here for any other inquiring minds.
what are the magnets made from?
each magnet is made with cork and an official sfmta muni transit map. not a print out of their pdf map, or a photocopy of a transit map - only the real deal. each magnet is then sealed with lacquer for easy cleaning.
why muni?
well, why not? i ride muni everyday. i don't have a car in the city, so i rely on muni to get me pretty much everywhere. i love knowing all the different routes and hopping on a bus line just to see where it takes me. plus, the best stories always come from muni rides...
which muni line do you take?
i'm lucky to live in an area that has a lot of lines running directly through it. i take the n judah regularly and curse it via twitter just as often. but i can also take the 43, 33, 6, 7, or 71 to get to and from home.
when will more neighborhoods be available?
i'm hoping to do shop updates every week. if you have a custom request feel free to email me - if muni services your hood, i can make a custom order for you.
