Help with DIY repairs for iPod Video?
I bought a Zune and had to send it to repair because an idiot threw my backpack on the floor that had my Zune at the bottom! So my iPod Video is all you have to provide music for me. The only problem is, you click this horrible noise that is obviously from inside the hard disk. Not the iPod, but from inside it. It works for a while and then freezes and does the clicking. It's getting extremely annoying. I hate it. So I was wondering that, since it is past the expiration date of the guarantee and I'm getting my Zune back in a little while, I thought I could be able to get under the hood and fix the iPod. Does anyone know how I could be able to do this? I really like because I'm mechanically inclined and like to have in my hands dirty and take things apart. So, does anyone have a guide for me, or a link or anything that might help? Best answer gets 10 points!
Generally, iPods are not the user. You should take a professional (audio / video / electronics expert) who can diagnose and fix your Zune. Good luck.
