British Gas do not believe everything you say – it is a money making fraud – they always tell you that. If you have a central heating boiler which contains no aluminum inside the tank (mostly the use of steel) can be used Fernox – there are two boats and need one of each. Descaler One and the other is a preventive. Add the remover for the hot water tank and break all the garbage there – give it a couple of months and then empty the radiator rads lowest point – Shutdown supply water to hot water tanks – have a drain plug at the bottom. Remove the screw square and connect a hose to it – let drain in the garden. When drained – fill the tank of hot water add the counter. Allow rads to fill and purge the air out. You may have to bleed the rads a few times and make sure turn off the water pump, otherwise just end up sucking more air into the system. Cost – € 25.00 + about two hours of your time (if any) the BG mine after I said the same – never had a problem since
