I'm doing a DIY solar panel?
I'm doing a big project for school, and I decided to do it on solar panels. I'm new to the subject, but have done some research on it, I would buy a single panel, a charge controller, an inverter and a battery to charge a single lamp. My question is whether the articles in the links that work together and whether the panel will produce electricity? Sounds fun. A-1-watt panel will not need a charge controller, however. Indeed, it may take more than 1 watt power charge regulator. With a low voltage panel, you can only connect the panel directly to the battery. A 7 amp-hour gel cell (the kind used in burglar alarms) would be good for this purpose. The panel is too small to carry a car battery. The gel of the cell would power inverter, but only for several minutes. To be more impressive, find a low-power, 12-volt device. An iPod, plus a 12-volt adapter car would be an example.
