How to Get Rid of pavement ants?
I'm in the process of buying a house. I've placed one of my biggest challenges will be fighting ants in my new home. They are called pavement ants. I do not have the money to invest in professional pest control, therefore it is some of the solutions DIY to get rid of ants for as long as possible? I know that I buy ant traps, but there must be something out there that is more useful.
Ok There was an extremely effective product out on the market in 1997 called Amdro. I do not know if the product is still in the market, but that is simply not this, it kills the queen. If the queen dies, there is nothing to create the baby ant so eventually (like 3-4 weeks) of the ant colony to die. By buying those ant traps all they are doing is killing the workers. Workers are not important, workers essentially are just cannon fodder. The queen is the one to be killed in order to eliminate the problem.But only one problem, the queen is underground.
